Great interview. Regarding platforms and creators making sure they’ve diversified, yes but we should also seize the moment and think about more systemic shifts. If there’s anything we can learn from our current brain-rot-enshittification-slop climate, it’s that creators may be better off diversifying away from the centralised but utterly shit social media giants and towards their (lesser known) decentralised equivalents. Until recently, I had no idea that there’s a ‘federation’ of platforms (aka the fediverse) that let their users cross-communicate with each other. We need taste-makers like Mørning to shed a light on these lesser known platforms. We don’t have to hang around the enshittified corners of the Internet. You want things to be less shit? Let’s get people migrating to the fediverse.

Sounds good! Would be interesting to review any decentralised alternatives to TikTok. Especially since it’s future in the US is still up in the air
